Bobby Flay and Stephanie March finally divorce

New York residents may agree that sometimes the only way to emerge from a traumatic marriage is by divorcing. That is not only true of people in ordinary marriages but it is also true of marriages of high net worth couples. Celebrity chef Bobby Flay and his wife of 10 years, Stephanie March, have decided to divorce. The divorce was finalized after a tough negotiation period. March is famous for her role in Law & Order: SVU.

Reports claim that in March 2014, March discovered that her husband, who is a celebrity chef on the Food Network, was having an affair with a younger colleague. She was his assistant in Bar Americain. Flay was also linked to another celebrity chef on the Food Network. They were seen together just before the divorce was finalized. However, Flay has denied that he had a relationship with her.

Flay's total assets are supposedly worth approximately $20 million. He has homes in the Hamptons and Manhattan. The couple had a prenuptial agreement, which they signed in 2005. According to the agreement, Flay would pay March $5,000 per month in the event of a divorce. However, even though they had a prenuptial agreement, they still fought over asset division.

The former spouses, who are 50 and 40 years old, respectively, do not have any children. The couple said that they have been able to overcome the tough times and they expect everyone to respect their privacy. Their representatives were unavailable for comment on the divorce. March was angry with Flay for bringing his publicist to court, in spite of a judge's order that forbade him from doing so.
